2. Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These include: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, and the time of the server request. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

3. Contact via Email

When you contact us by email, your message and all personal data provided (name, email address) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent. The data will be deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

4. Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your information from the form, including the personal data you provide (name, email, company, project URL, message), will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The form data is transmitted securely to our server and forwarded to [email protected]. We use a honeypot field and rate limiting for spam protection — no cookies are required for this.

5. Calendly (Appointment Booking)

We use Calendly for scheduling appointments. Calendly is a service provided by Calendly, LLC, Atlanta, GA, USA. The Calendly widget is only loaded after your explicit consent to external content. If you use the booking function, Calendly processes your data (name, email, selected appointment) according to its own privacy policy. Data may be transferred to the United States. For details, see: https://calendly.com/privacy.

6. Cookies and Consent Management

This website uses only technically necessary cookies and a consent preference stored in your browser's localStorage. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies are used. External content (such as Calendly) is only loaded after you give your explicit consent via the consent banner. You can change your consent settings at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

7. Hosting

This website is hosted on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, provided by Hetzner Online GmbH. The connection between your browser and our server is encrypted via TLS/SSL. Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) is used as a CDN and proxy. Cloudflare may process access data (IP addresses, request metadata) in accordance with its own privacy policy. Data transfer to the USA is covered by Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. International Data Transfers

As our company is based in the United States, and we use service providers (Cloudflare, Calendly) that may process data in the USA, personal data may be transferred internationally. These transfers are safeguarded through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), Data Processing Agreements, and other appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.

9. Data Retention

Personal data collected through the contact form or email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to process your enquiry and any follow-up communication. Data is deleted when it is no longer required for its original purpose and no legal retention obligations apply.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to the processing of your data; receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

11. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
