Sheridan, WY 82801, USA
Email: martin@digimedion.com

2. Scope and Legal Bases

We process personal data only as necessary to operate this website, respond to enquiries, fulfil contractual obligations and comply with legal requirements. The legal bases under the GDPR are: Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) (contract), Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional and informative website).

3. Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, the time of the server request and the IP address. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to provide a stable, secure website. Log files are stored for a limited period and then deleted; longer retention is only for security investigations.

4. Contact via Email

When you contact us by email, your message and all personal data provided (name, email address, content of the message) are processed to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(f) for general enquiries). We do not share this data with third parties without your consent. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact Form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the information you provide (name, email, company, website, project type, budget, timeline, message) is processed to handle your enquiry. The form is submitted via TLS to our server and forwarded to martin@digimedion.com. We use a honeypot field and rate limiting for spam protection — no cookies are set for this purpose. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

6. Calendly (Appointment Booking)

We use Calendly, provided by Calendly LLC, Atlanta, GA, USA, for scheduling appointments. The Calendly widget is only loaded after you give explicit consent to external content via the consent banner. If you use the booking function, Calendly processes your data (name, email, selected appointment) under its own privacy policy and may transfer data to the United States. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). For details, see: https://calendly.com/privacy.

7. Cookies and Consent Management

This website uses only technically necessary storage and a consent preference stored in your browser's localStorage. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies or advertising cookies are set without your consent. External content (such as Calendly) is only loaded after you give explicit consent via the consent banner. You can review or change your settings at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the consent management itself; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for any optional categories you enable.

8. Hosting and CDN

This website is hosted on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany. Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, CA, USA) is used as a CDN and security proxy. Cloudflare processes access metadata (IP address, request headers) to deliver content quickly and to defend against attacks. Data transfer to the United States is covered by Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a fast, reliable and secure website).

9. International Data Transfers

As Digimedion is operated by a US entity and uses service providers (Cloudflare, Calendly) that may process data in the United States, personal data may be transferred internationally. These transfers are safeguarded through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), Data Processing Agreements and other appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.

10. Data Retention

Personal data collected through the contact form or email is retained for as long as necessary to process your enquiry and any follow-up communication. Data is deleted when it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

11. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15); request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16); request deletion of your data (Art. 17); restrict the processing of your data (Art. 18); receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20); object to the processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21); withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing (Art. 7(3)). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at martin@digimedion.com.

12. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
